University of Brighton January Intake 2026
The University of Brighton January Intake 2026 brings excellent news for Indian students planning to study in the UK. The university has officially announced that it will now accept the Medium of Instruction (MOI) from the last three years of study from top Indian universities. This update means eligible students can now apply without IELTS, making the process easier, faster, and more affordable for thousands of applicants.
For many Indian graduates who completed their studies in English but did not take IELTS, this is a major advantage. It removes a big hurdle, saving both time and money while speeding up the admission timeline.
Why This Is Great News for Indian Students
The University of Brighton January Intake 2026 is especially appealing because the MOI acceptance allows students to demonstrate their English language proficiency without the need for test scores. Here’s why this matters:
1. No IELTS Required
If your previous three years of education were taught entirely in English, you can apply with a simple MOI letter instead of sitting for IELTS. This is ideal for students facing test availability issues or who prefer not to take a standardized exam.
2. Faster Application Processing
Without IELTS, your application moves quicker. You can receive offers earlier, allowing more time for visa preparations, travel planning, and accommodation search.
3. Saves Money
IELTS test fees can be expensive. Using MOI eliminates this cost completely, making the process more student-friendly.
4. Perfect for Final-Year Students
Students graduating in mid or late 2025 can immediately apply for the January 2026 intake without waiting for test results.
5. Better Chances of Admission
Brighton is known for being a supportive university for international students, and this MOI acceptance policy makes it even more accessible.
